House Hunters International!

Sooo, like many of you out there, I am absolutely obsessed with watching the hit show International House Hunters. It makes the unimaginable, well...imaginable!!

Today I was watching and the couple were moving from Wisconsin to a small city in Paraguay. The couple reminded me so much of myself and hubby.  They share very similar reasoning as my own with regards to living in a foreign country....

I am harassed often questioned, why?

Why do you live in Mexico?

A. I like it

I'm not going to blog about all the reasons I love Mexico, and all the reasons I love Canada. Been there,  done that. I'm sure I'll do it again. Just not today.Instead, I am SERIOUSLY considering getting in touch with International House Hunters and applying to appear on their program!! Why didn't I think of this before? Hubby and I were house hunting last year around this time, and we must have seen a dozen or so places before we made a decision. Surely good enough for a bit of entertainment!!

Okay, so I'm going to do it!! I'll let you all know what I find out, or if I hear anything back from them.

Where was your most memorable location featured on the show?

You and your husband would make a great program. I hope you'll succeed. My favorite chapter was a guy who got a house in a small town in Italy for less than 50K; of course he had a lot to fix.

HHI was recently in Vallarta!!! They went with Timothy Real Estate and everyone in PV was just so excited to be a part of such a great program!

You've got a great idea! I wonder how they choose the couples that they feature? Let us know how it goes. :)

Love this show too! I of course love all the ones with moves to Mexico, Central America and South America. I also prefer the ones with reasonable budgets for normal people :)

Oh Amanda - they often have apartments featured on their show, and for renters. It's not always for purchasing!! You could look into it... You have to create a video and send in with your application :))

I'll write a post on it soon!

I am OBSESSED with that show. It's not healthy.

I heard they were actually looking for a couple in Cancun to appear on the show a few months ago, but I think it was only for people JUST moving to the area. bummer.
