Well, sometime last year they announced that the brothers were splitting the business. I am not sure of the details, and to be honest, none of my business. However, hubby was working at the Cancun Palace and it was announced they were changing brands over to the Hard Rock chain....
At first we weren't sure if this was a good, or bad thing. What do we know about hotels anyways? Not sure what people are looking for. I loved the Cancun Palace, but I have to say this new venture seems very exciting. There seems to be a large demand for Hard Rock locations... Who knew?

The changes are amazing ladies - I can't believe how quickly they are doing everything. Originally they had plans for the pool as well, but who closes a pool down in Cancun? You just can't do that!!! Tourists would NOT be happy!

Been to the Las Vegas Hard Rock. They are very popular. Can't wait to see more pics. I liked the Cancun Palace, stayed there several times.
Kay, Wow, you've been to the one in Vegas??!! Awesome. YES, I had no idea how popular this brand really was... There is a real "following"... Who knew? LOL!!!
I loved the Cancun Palace prior to these renos' and now I love it even more...I really didn't anticipate this. LOL. They are also changing Aventura Spa Palace to a Hard Rock .... That should really be something!!!
